What is it?
Its quite simple, really.
Sometimes you need more than one App to handle all your content, and paying $575-$1000 usd a month per App is not an option.
That's why we've created the Success fee. We offer you unlimited Apps for a single license payment in exchange for one thing: If any of your Apps’ editions reaches more than 1,000 downloads at any point, we ask for a commission.
Commission you say? How much are we talking about?
We charge this commission only once a year, regardless of how many times that App reaches the 1,000 download mark on any of its editions. That's right – for each successful App, it's a non-cumulative flat rate paid once a year.

What platforms does Publish88® support?
iPad and iPhone and beginning in June, the Android tablet and telephone.
Is the Kindle Fire a supported platform?
Currently, the Kindle Fire is not a supported platform. However, we anticipate that by late-2014, it will join as a supported platform.
Can I apply Publish88® to a news feed?
Yes, there is a connection for RSS feeds.
Is an additional plugin necessary or does Publish88® already include it?
No additional plugin is necessary, as the Publish88® license already includes it.
What version of Adobe InDesign© is the Publish88® plug compatible with?
CS4, CS5, CS5.5 & CS6
Do I create the edition, or do I send you the material and you take care of everything?
We offer the service of outsourcing, but most of our clients produce their own digital editions themselves.
What are the Apple/Google Play data & graphic requirements to register an App?

Do I need to program the edition with coding?
No. The digital editions are done directly through Adobe InDesign© or from our own web application without writing a single line of coding or programming.
Does Publish88® publish in iBooks format?
No.
What effects does Publish88® have available to enhance my digital editions?
Publish88® currently has 17 special effects to enhance digital editions, from photo galleries to 3D animations, embedded videos to Google Maps. The list is extensive.
How are these effects implemented?
All of the effects can be implemented directly from our Plug-in for Adobe InDesign©, and the most frequently used (galeries, videos, etc) can also be added via our web app called Publish88® Assembler.
Can a Publish88® App connect to a subscriber database?
Yes. Download the App from El Universal+ to see an example.
Is there a “backoffice” mechanism available to organize different editions of a publication?
Yes. Our web App allows you to change around pages within a section of the edition, add sections, change covers, etc.
Does the license include publishing on both telephone and tablets?
Yes, using a single process, your edition will circulate on the iPad and iPhone, and soon to be available on the Android.
Is there an Adobe InDesign© plugin for Windows?
Yes, for the CS5.5 version.
Where can I take a course on Publish88®?

Can I have some type of personalized kiosk on my App to publish my magazines in order to sell them?
Yes. Download the “National Geographic en Español” app for an example.
Can I add links to my PDFs using Publish88®?
Yes.
Can I store my digital editions on my servers, or do I have to store them on the Publish88® servers?
While some clients choose to store their editions with us, most keep them on their own servers. We prefer that you keep them so that your content and materials never leave your servers.
Can I add flash animations?
No.
Can you register me through the Apple Store in order to publish my App?
Yes. We can put together a proposal for this service.
